At MACSEYE, we’re passionate about creating warm, engaging spaces where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. Our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program in Sunbury is expanding, and we’re looking for enthusiastic educators who want to be part of something meaningful.

 

About the Role

We’re offering casual and part-time opportunities across multiple services in Sunbury, making this a great fit whether you’re building experience in the education space or bringing established skills to a dynamic team. You’ll play a key role in supporting children before and after school through fun, engaging, and enriching experiences.

Permanent Part-Time $30–$38/hr + Super + Allowances | Casual up to $47.68/hr

 

Hours of Work

🌇 Afternoon Care: 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm

Job Description

Your Role as an Educator

🌟 Create Safe and Inspiring Spaces
Design environments where children feel secure, supported, and motivated to explore and learn.

🎨 Plan Engaging Experiences
Lead hands-on, fun, and creative activities that spark curiosity, imagination, and a love of learning.

🤝 Build Strong Connections
Develop positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering a welcoming, community-focused environment.

🌱 Champion Wellbeing and Growth
Support each child’s social, emotional, and developmental needs while promoting overall wellbeing.

Collaborate and Innovate
Work closely with your team to co-create programs that reflect children’s interests, ideas, and voices.

Qualifications

🙌 What You’ll Bring

  • A genuine passion for working with children

  • A warm, collaborative approach with strong communication skills

  • Cert III (or higher) in an ACECQA recognised qualification (or currently studying)

  • Valid First Aid, CPR, WWCC, and Australian work rights (or able to obtain these)
