About the Role:
Playing a crucial role from within our Operations Engineering team, the Operations Readiness Specialist will be responsible for supporting across assurance frameworks, audit documentation, and site best practice; ultimately ensuring consistent operational readiness across our broader organisation. Through clearly defining compliance criteria and standards, in conjunction with risk analysis and data modelling, this role will see the successful candidate driving quality uplift and reducing variability across our sites and functions.
- Define and maintain readiness criteria, assurance frameworks, and tracking mechanisms (supported by our Operations Engineering SME's).
- Govern and embed consistent operational readiness and assurance standards across the CDC portfolio.
- Utilise risk analysis and operational insight to support with quality uplift, seeking to minimise site variability.
- Manage the Ready for Operations (RFO) lifecycle, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure clear ownership.
- Utilise data analytics and dashboard reporting measures, communicating insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support with audit preparations, document management, and tracking mechanisms - embedding readiness into day-to-day delivery.

About You:
The successful candidate will combine a demonstrated understanding of functional assurance or operational improvement from within an industrial or commercial setting (e.g. construction, building and maintenance services, data centre environments), with a proactive, solutions-focused approach to ultimately drive outcomes. If you possess experience in developing and maintaining frameworks, analysing key operational data, and effectively translating complex, technical requirements into understandable processes and terms - we'd love to hear from you!
- Previous experience within designing, implementing, and monitoring performance and assurance metrics
- Comfortability in collaborating and coaching internal stakeholders to maintain adherence to compliance requirements
- Data-driven, solutions-focused, with a high level of attention to detail both written and verbal
- Developed data analytics skillset, with proficiency in dashboard reporting and modelling tools (such as Power BI)
- Deep understanding of compliance frameworks, audit readiness, and risk management principles
Essential:
Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.
