As Operations Analyst within the Transaction Services team, you will be responsible for managing settlements, managed funds and transferring assets. The successful candidate will provide the best service possible to clients, and assist in identifying process improvement opportunities to create scale. This position is a 12 month fixed term contract.
Your Responsibilites:
- Daily reporting, reconciliations & checklist completion
- Processing managed fund trades
- Managing settlement of all relevant transactions (domestic/international equities, domestic/international fixed income, managed funds and bonds) ensuring minimal failed settlements
- Processing trade amendments and cancellations
- Maintenance of Counterparty SSI’s
- Processing of asset transfers (domestic/international equities, domestic/international fixed income, managed funds, and bonds) according to client instructions and market deadlines
- Processing asset cost bases
- Liaison with custodians and business partners
- Ensure adherence to Corporate Risk Policy, Standard Operating Procedures, relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
About You:
- Degree qualified in Finance, Business or Commerce
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Operations within Financial Services
- A good understanding and knowledge of Australian Financial Markets
