Scope of Role
A RecordPoint Onboarding Specialist (Technical) engages with customers and colleagues to enable the successful adoption of RecordPoint software products. You will be responsible for delivering RecordPoint solutions and services to support successful product implementations, integrations, and migrations.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role focused on technical onboarding and solution delivery. You will help customers get up and running with RecordPoint by designing and implementing practical, scalable solutions that drive value quickly and effectively. You’ll solve interesting technical problems, work with complex data and cloud environments, and collaborate with a high-performing team to deliver strong customer outcomes.
You'll be responsible for:
- Build trusted relationships with customers by understanding their business goals and technical requirements
- Conduct discovery sessions to gather, document, and validate client requirements
- Help customers define technical solutions that align with their needs and RecordPoint capabilities
- Understand customer success criteria and support delivery of positive implementation outcomes
- Design onboarding and implementation approaches that meet customer needs
- Help shape scalable, supportable, and best-practice technical solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams on product enhancements, technical patterns, or custom requirements where needed
- Contribute technical input to scoping, proposals, and solution planning activities
- Deliver technical onboarding activities including configuration, connector deployment, integration, and migration support
- Design and manage migration and integration activities with internal technical teams, customer teams, and vendors
- Support deployments across cloud and Microsoft 365 environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementation
- Develop scripts, tools, or repeatable methods to improve delivery efficiency
- Translate customer requirements into clear technical actions and business outcomes
- Support Project Managers in overcoming deployment challenges and maintaining momentum
- Train customers and internal team members on RecordPoint products and technical solutions
- Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment notes, runbooks, and user guides as required
- Manage multiple onboarding and technical delivery activities at the same time
- Work closely with customers, Project Managers, and internal teams to achieve milestones on time
- Provide clear progress updates, task status, and risk information throughout delivery
- Collaborate with other consultants and specialists to deliver successful customer outcomes

You'll bring:
- 3+ years of experience implementing SharePoint, Microsoft 365, ECM, or EDRMS solutions
- 3+ years of experience in a client-facing consulting, implementation, or technical delivery role
- Experience with Azure, Microsoft 365 Administration, and Azure Active Directory / Entra ID
- Experience designing, building, and deploying cloud solutions, including SaaS and PaaS
- Experience migrating customers from on-premises platforms to modern cloud solutions
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical communication skills
- Ability to work across multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with records management or information management solutions
- Direct experience with RecordPoint products
- Understanding of security principles and controls in cloud environments
- Experience with scripting or automation using tools such as PowerShell or Python
