To meet these requirements, we are seeking a talented and experienced Omnichannel Solutions Architect / Presales Engineer to join our team and support our business development process in Australia.


Role Overview:

As an Omnichannel Solutions Architect / Presales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales team throughout the discovery, scoping, validation, and project management phases of system integration projects with leading ERP and OMS systems in Australia, such as Cin7, Apparel 21, Comestri, and NetSuite. Your expertise in retail systems and ecommerce solutions will be crucial in helping retail merchants implement successful omnichannel strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of retail business processes, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to design efficient work processes and product flows to ensure smooth project implementations.


Responsibilities:

1. Discovery and Scoping:

- Collaborate with the sales team to understand the requirements and pain points of prospective retail merchants.

- Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with clients to assess their business needs and identify areas for system integration and process optimization.

- Scope and define the scope of work, outlining project deliverables and timelines for successful implementations.


2. Solution Design and Validation:

- Develop comprehensive solutions that align with the clients' omnichannel objectives, considering integration with existing ERP and OMS systems.

- Work closely with the project team to validate the feasibility and technical viability of proposed solutions.

- Ensure that the designed solutions align with the capabilities of Shopline's ecommerce and retail POS offerings.


3. Project Management:

- Oversee the end-to-end project management process, from initial customer engagement to successful project launch.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to execute solution development and feature enhancements.

- Track project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.


4. Customer Engagement and Support:

- Act as a trusted advisor to retail merchants, providing expert guidance on implementing omnichannel strategies and leveraging Shopline's solutions effectively.

- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of Shopline's offerings.


Requirements:

1. Experience:

- Proven experience in retail system and ecommerce solution architecture or presales engineering roles.

- Strong background in designing and implementing omnichannel strategies for retail businesses.

- Familiarity with leading ERP systems in Australia, such as Cin7, Apparel 21, Comestri, and NetSuite, and their integration capabilities.


2. Technical Knowledge:

- Solid understanding of retail and ecommerce technologies, including POS systems, inventory management, and supply chain processes.

- Familiarity with API integration and system integration methodologies.

- Coding knowledge is advantageous, but not mandatory.


3. Communication Skills:

- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong customer-facing skills to build rapport and trust with clients.


4. Project Management:

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to successful completion.

- Experience with Agile project management methodologies is a plus.


5. Retail Domain Expertise:

- Deep understanding of the retail industry, its challenges, and trends.

- Knowledge of traditional ERP systems used in retail environments is highly desirable.
