Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform DFA (Design for Assembly) analysis for new product mechanical assembly, and drive for non-compliance closure.
- Working with DE (Design Engineering) and EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) suppliers to drive closure of mechanical assembly or process related issues.
- Working with DE (Design Engineering) and EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) suppliers to develop new BE (Backend) processes / technology.
- Develop suppliers to provide best in class manufacturing processes to support new product manufacturing requirements.
- Hands-on experience in product mechanical failures troubleshooting and optimization of new product manufacturing processes.
- Continuously develop and seek new processes breakthroughs that improve quality, productivity and cost.

Basic Requirements
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering.
- Candidate must possess below experience and knowledge :
- Mechanical assembly process
- Familiar with best practices in mechanical assembly and assembly jig / fixture design
- Familiar with poka-yoke design and Design for Assembly guideline / design rules
- Familiar with statistical tool such as pFMEA, SPC, DOE
- Ultrasonic, resistance welding and heat staking process
- Vacuum leak test requirement and troubleshooting
- Experience / knowledge in below technology/methodology will be added advantage
- Experience in SMT process for Flex and PCBA
- Experience in SMT DFM process
- Excellent communication, organization, reporting and highly analytical skills individuals with strong personal interaction skills are encouraged to apply.
- Self motivated with high level of initiative and energy.
- Willingness for domestic and international travel (when applicable)
- On-site at EMS / supplier site as required to provide technical support / guidance.
- Preferred 2-3 years related working experience in the following field.
