About the Role

GSK is looking for a passionate and experienced National Sales Manager for our Respiratory Business Unit. In this key leadership role, you will have responsibility for a team of Specialist Account Managers that are driving the performance of our Biologics specialty business.

You will:

  • Lead your team in the development of performance driving key account plans
  •  Embed an omni-channel approach to engaging with customers
  • Develop strong relationships with cross-functional partners to execute the strategic brand plan
  • Drive a culture of leadership, sales excellence and continuous improvement
  • Keep up to speed on developments in the respective therapeutic areas
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners; regulatory, medical, and market access

About you:

To be successful, you will be an accomplished sales leader within the pharmaceutical space, bringing leadership and experience in tactical implementation of brand strategy -

  • A tertiary degree in Business, Science, Biomedical or Education
  • A thorough understanding of the hospital customer landscape and commercialisation of new and existing specialty medicines
  • Excellent business acumen with strong performance diagnosis, business planning and execution capabilities
  • Effective leadership, management and coaching skills with a passion for developing people
  • Excellent business partnering, influencing skills and ability to work across boundaries with a broad range of cross functional stakeholders
  • Launch and disease area experience preferable
  • Ability and willingness to commit to regular national travel
