We are excited to share an internal opportunity for a highly capable and motivated operations leader to step into the role of Viscount National Operations Manager – Pooling Australia.

This is a significant national leadership role within our Australian Pooling operations, responsible for leading the safe, reliable and cost-effective performance of our national network. The role plays a critical part in ensuring we deliver for our customers every day while continuing to lift our performance across safety, quality, service, cost, people capability and operational excellence.

Reporting directly to Trevor Gray, General Manager Operations & Supply Chain, this role will work closely with our teams and our external service partners to deliver strong outcomes across the national network.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead national operational planning and execution across the Australian Pooling network.
  • Champion safety, environmental performance and quality standards across all sites.
  • Drive reliable service delivery for customers while optimising freight, labour, maintenance and operating costs.
  • Strengthen operational excellence through daily management, structured problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Coach and develop operational leaders and build strong, accountable and engaged teams.
  • Partner with internal teams and external providers to support growth, new business implementation and improved ways of working.

Your skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
