Job Description

We’re looking for a commercially driven National Business Development Manager to lead and grow key client relationships across Australia. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys shaping strategy, driving revenue growth, and leading a high-performing team to deliver strong commercial outcomes.

You’ll play a key role in expanding existing accounts, securing new opportunities, and strengthening partnerships across a diverse industry portfolio.

We’re flexible on location and welcome applications from candidates based in Adelaide or Brisbane.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead and support the Business Development team to drive growth across key accounts
  • Identify and deliver strategic organic growth projects nationally
  • Manage and oversee major bids, tenders, and contract negotiations
  • Strengthen relationships with key clients and procurement stakeholders
  • Review and optimise contracts to maximise commercial outcomes
  • Track sales performance and provide insights to support strategic decisions
  • Coach and guide team members on best practice and commercial strategy
  • Represent the business at events, conferences, and client meetings

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience in Business Development, Key Account Management, or Contracts
  • Strong background in commercial negotiations and tender processes
  • Experience working across industries such as Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, or similar
  • Ability to lead and develop a small team
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • High attention to detail with solid analytical and reporting capability
  • Full, unrestricted driver’s licence
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (desirable)
