Job Purpose

The National Account Manager plays a key role in developing and executing business strategies to position Haworth as the preferred workplace solutions partner for Australian national businesses. This role focuses on building Australian-headquartered accounts as a distinct vertical within the Haworth Australia sales team and reports directly to the Managing Director, Australia & New Zealand.


A glimpse of your daily mission

  1. Identify, qualify, develop and close new and existing client opportunities to achieve sales quotas.

  2. Develop a consistent approach to address clients’ workplace needs, both as direct client and via the dealer network.

  3. Present Haworth and partner portfolios to address clients’ workplace needs.

  4. Partner and support relevant Architecture & Design (A&Ds) to support clients’ workplace visions in National Accounts and complement their initiatives with Haworth resources where relevant.

  5. Identify, prioritise, and develop strategies to secure large opportunities at Australian headquartered companies across Australia.

  6. Develop and execute account sales plans to achieve maximum account penetration within targeted accounts to meet sales goals.

  7. Establish contact and develop relationships with senior managers at major customers, target accounts, and indirect accounts with a focus on project management, real estate and developers.

  8. Deliver impacting solution strategy presentations to key influencers and high-level decision makers to create value of Haworth brand.

  9. Liaise closely with sales operations team to complete the sales cycle.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.

  • 5–7 years of sales experience in a relevant industry.

  • Proven experience working with Australian-headquartered companies, with a strong track record of sales success.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels in a B2B environment.

  • Detail-oriented, values-driven, and customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to delivering client satisfaction.
