We currently have an exciting opportunity for a National Account Manager to join our Commercial Sales team. Reporting to the National Business Manager – Woolworths, you’ll play a key role in driving growth, profitability, market share and distribution across one of Bulla’s most important customer relationships. 

Working closely with Woolworths, you’ll identify opportunities, develop strong commercial plans and negotiate outcomes that create value for both the customer and Bulla. You’ll bring together customer insights, market data and commercial acumen to shape promotional programs, trade investment, forecasting, ranging and category reviews. 

You’ll also have an important role across both Bulla’s branded portfolio and private label, leading tender opportunities and collaborating with teams across the business to deliver commercially sustainable outcomes. 

What’s the Scoop? 

  • Own and grow the Woolworths customer relationship, building strong, mutually beneficial commercial partnerships. 
  • Develop and execute account strategies that deliver volume, sales, margin, distribution and market share targets. 
  • Analyse customer, category and competitor data to identify growth opportunities and support commercial negotiations. 
  • Lead promotional planning, trade spend management and account-specific initiatives. 
  • Manage ranging, new product launches, distribution and planogram opportunities. 
  • Prepare and present compelling business and category reviews. 
  • Manage private label tenders and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to develop winning submissions. 
  • Partner closely with Demand, Marketing, Finance, Field Sales, Supply Chain and other cross-functional teams to deliver customer outcomes. 
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and collaborate with the Demand team to support service and DIFOT performance. 
  • Proactively solve customer and commercial challenges, balancing the needs of Woolworths with Bulla’s broader business objectives. 

What You’ll Bring: 

  • Experience managing Coles or Woolworths, with a strong understanding of the Australian grocery environment. 
  • Experience across both branded and private label products. 
  • Experience in dairy or FMCG is highly regarded, but not essential. 
  • A background that could include progression from Territory Manager, National Account Executive, National Account Manager, or experience across different commercial functions that has built a broad understanding of customer management. 
  • A track record of taking on incremental promotional, commercial or customer responsibilities and successfully growing your scope. 
  • Strong analytical capability, with confidence interpreting customer and market data and using insights to influence decisions and negotiations. 
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills and an ability to understand the numbers behind the deal. 
  • Proven experience working with large, complex commercial accounts. 
  • Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to bring cross-functional teams together around a common goal. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet when priorities change. 
  • A positive, energetic and proactive approach, with the resilience to navigate a fast-paced commercial environment. 
  • A genuine team-first mindset, with the ability to collaborate and build strong relationships at all levels.
