We are seeking an experienced National Account Manager to join our Sales Team based in Melbourne. Reporting into the Customer Business Manager (Baby Care), you will be responsible for providing support for Kimberly-Clark Australia’s Coles Baby Care & Adult Feminine Care. You will assist through the planning, analysis, influencing and collaboration across KCA’s brands to ensure optimum profitability & budgeted NSV is achieved within specified volume, trade spend and category/brand strategy guidelines.

You will be responsible for designing and executing plans which align to category/brand strategies to exceed net sales targets within a set trade spend budget. Further, you will lead the range and merchandising review processes and will be a passionate advocate for your accounts across the KCA organisation.

  

Further Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Development, analysis, implementation and management of the customer and promotional plans that best achieve volume and NSV budgets by product.
  • Provide forecasting and utilisation of account replenishing contacts, to assist the Demand Planning Team in stock management as well as input into the development and implementation of long-term strategies to meet future customer requirements, including EDLP, shopper focused range and Value-add initiatives.
  • You will achieve DPSM within Coles of KCA products, using Category Management principles, Business & Category reviews, Field Cycle Programs, Space Management and other applicable resources.
  • Contribute to the review and negotiation of Coles Trading Terms by providing thorough analysis of Trade Investment, Profitability, Return on Investment, Sales Performance, Supply Chain & Receivables.

  • You are someone that is in a similar capacity role and will bring forward solid Sales experience across FMCG or similar industry. You hold sound product knowledge (KCA and competitor) and have worked across Grocery channels.
  • You hold great financial, budgeting and forecasting skills together with an appreciation and understanding of category management principles. Your computer skills particularly systems such as IRI Aztec, Promax and SAP will also be highly appreciated.
  • You have demonstrated experience in managing multiple stakeholders cross functionally, and are able to articulate and identify business priorities, drivers, risks and opportunities.
  • You are customer focused; as we put the customer at the heart in everything that we, you will need to have sound customer liaison skills, coupled with influencing and negotiation skills.
  • You are a team player, and you bring froward your great communication as well as stakeholder management skills and apply your commercial and systematic acumen towards achieving the results.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business or similar discipline.
