About the role:

Reporting to the Channel Director, you will take full ownership of the Amazon 1P partnership - a highly strategic, complex and high growth platform within Mars Petcare.

This role will put you at the centre of shaping long-term, profitable growth, where you will lead senior customer negotiations, set the strategic agenda, and ensure Amazon is built as a scalable, future-ready channel for Mars.

In addition, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Connected Commerce, Category, Supply Chain and Finance to deliver ambitious, multi-year growth across commercial strategy, joint business planning, digital excellence and platform performance.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the commercial strategy and performance for Amazon 1P

  • Lead joint business planning, pricing, promotions and investment decisions

  • Deliver sustainable GSV growth while improving profitability

  • Drive Amazon flywheel performance across traffic, conversion and repeat

  • Own demand forecasting and partner with Supply Chain to deliver availability and service excellence

  • Set the direction for digital shelf excellence (content, search, ratings & reviews)

  • Lead executive-level customer relationships, governance and negotiations

  • Translate Amazon learnings into scalable best practice across eCommerce and Specialist Pet Trade

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience leading large, complex customers in FMCG, retail or eCommerce

  • Strong Amazon or digital marketplace expertise (1P preferred)

  • Commercially sharp, data-led and confident influencing senior stakeholders

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and highly matrixed environments

  • A connector who thrives on collaboration and building long-term partnerships
