Job Description

The role

Step into a career that moves with you. As a Mobile Lending Specialist with Beyond Bank, you will help more Australians achieve their home ownership goals while building strong, trusted connections in your local community.

We are looking for a passionate, commercially minded and member-obsessed Mobile Lending Specialist to join our growing national lending team. In this flexible, community-focused role, you will bring personalised banking to life by meeting members where they are, building meaningful local relationships and delivering lending solutions that support their goals.

Based from any Beyond Bank office located in SA, VIC or WA, you'll have the opportunity to build your career within a collaborative and high-performing team while making a genuine impact in your local community. You'll be supported by industry-leading systems, dedicated lending support teams and ongoing development opportunities to help you succeed.

This is not a typical desk-based lending role. You will spend time in your local community, meeting members at locations and times that work for them. As the local face of Beyond Bank, you will deliver tailored lending solutions with professionalism, energy and expertise while strengthening our presence in the communities we serve.

In this role, you will

  • Build and nurture strong networks within your local market, uncovering opportunities through community connections, businesses and referral partners.
  • Drive home lending growth across your designated region by developing new business opportunities and deepening member relationships.
  • Generate leads across lending, insurance, wealth and business banking by being visible, proactive and engaged in your community.
  • Engage in meaningful, consultative conversations to understand each customer's goals, lifestyle and lending needs.
  • Deliver tailored lending solutions with a focus on exceptional service, trusted advice and long-term relationships.
  •  Play a key role in growing Beyond Bank's presence, impact and success within your local market.

Qualifications

About you

You will be energised by connecting with people, building strong business and referral networks, attracting new members and deepening existing relationships. You will be a confident ambassador for Beyond Bank, promoting our brand through trusted conversations, meaningful connections and exceptional service.

You will have:

  • Demonstrated business development experience and the confidence to build strong referral and community networks.
  • Solid home lending experience with the ability to support members across a diverse range of customer needs.
  • High-level sales skills with an exceptional member focus and genuine passion for helping people achieve their goals.
  • Proven success in relationship management, referral partnerships and identifying new business opportunities.
  • The ability to lead needs-based conversations that uncover customer needs and provide tailored lending solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, organisational and time-management skills.
  • A strong desire to make a positive contribution to the communities in which you work.
  • Strong lending experience is highly desirable, together with an understanding of local market dynamics and community engagement.
  • The ability and drive to work in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information

See yourself in our team

You will join Beyond Bank's national lending channel: a connected, high-performing team focused on growing our home lending presence and delivering exceptional member outcomes across Australia.

While you will have the flexibility and autonomy to build strong relationships within your local market, you will be supported by ongoing coaching, experienced sales leadership, a dedicated loan fulfilment team and a mobile coordination team that assists with lead allocation, pipeline management and member engagement.

Together, we will help you focus on what you do best: building relationships, having quality lending conversations and helping members achieve their home ownership goals.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
