We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Mix Room Supervisor to work across our Mulgrave & Dandenong sites in Melbourne.

Reporting to the Team Lead – Melbourne, the Mix Room Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production activities and providing strong leadership to support the achievement of Bulla’s production targets. This role ensures compliance with operational standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, driving team capability, engagement, and performance. Success in this position involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.

Hours:

These will be the standard hours for the role, subject to scheduling requirements. From time to time, some flexibility may be required to support operational needs. The successful candidate will also be required to spend a short period of time on day shift initially to learn the role and understand expected requirements.

  • Day Shift 
    6am-2pm

Rate:

  • $37.26 per hour base rate 

What’s the Scoop?

  • Assisting the Melbourne Leadership team with providing input into the process planning and scheduling program of the site
  • Implementing process plans within their area of responsibility
  • Developing and supervising all staff in line with Corporate and Divisional Goals
  • Implementing and maintaining Safety, Quality, Process and production performance
  • Responsible for safe work practices in accordance with the company’s OH&S policies and procedures
  • Adhere to site safety policies and training with regards to chemical handling and usage
  • Participate actively and effectively in site decision making processes and promoting collaboration between site functional units in achieving overall business goals
  • Use computer-based programs for data recording, report and program generation
  • Monitor, investigate and correct OH&S non-conformances within their area
  • Coordinate new employee training
  • Provide relief assistance during periods of absence of other Supervisors and staff
  • Continuously improve own capabilities through demonstrated commitment to personal development
  • Carry out internal GMP audits, communicate results with staff and support Management with the implementation of remedies for any issue
  • Undertake other tasks within the levels of skills and competencies as required.
  • Promote Safety, Quality and Process within the business.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Manual dexterity and physical capability to perform the full range of manual handling tasks
  • Ability to work effectively either individually or in a team environment under routine supervision
  • Ability to identify faults or hazards, and initiate corrective actions
  • Ability to accurately interpret and apply verbal and written work instructions
  • Demonstrated learning capability
  • Ability to provide basic training to other individuals
  • Ability to operate effectively over different workstations
  • Availability for work – standard hour, shift work, overtime, weekend work, etc. (as appropriate)
  • Ability to comply with standards in relation to Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, hygiene, quality assurance and conduct
