Mid-Market & Private Consulting - Advisory provides business transformation, risk & assurance, and technology outcomes to mid-market clients through the delivery of consulting, internal audit and implementation services. Your Opportunity 

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant within our Mid-Market & Private Consulting – Advisory, Strategy & Operations group. This role is based in Melbourne. 

Advisory

Our Advisory team brings together expertise in strategy, transformation and operational excellence to help clients address complex business challenges and achieve sustainable growth. We partner with organisations to shape strategy, improve business performance and deliver transformational change, supporting clients from initial concept through to execution. Leveraging KPMG's extensive national and global capabilities, we take a multidisciplinary approach to help clients enter new markets, enhance customer outcomes, optimise operations and successfully deliver strategic initiatives.

How are you extraordinary? 

• You will have the ability to deliver client engagements, supported by peers and junior consultants, under the oversight of our senior team 
• Bring passion and expertise - consulting and competency - that positions you as go-to-person, a role model for junior consultants 
• Coach peers and junior practitioners by transferring knowledge and skills, and by providing guidance and support 
• Master consulting skills, from storyboarding and facilitating workshops through to storytelling, business writing, critical thinking and structured problem solving 
• Demonstrate strength in project management and have a clear ability to effectively prioritise and deliver high quality work to our clients and to our internal teams.

Business Transformation 

• Experience supporting strategic, transformation or operational improvement initiatives to address complex business challenges and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to gather and analyse qualitative and quantitative data to inform strategic decision-making and business transformation activities.
• Developing capability in strategic planning, operating model design, business transformation and organisational improvement initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence outcomes across business and client environments.
• Experience preparing executive-level presentations, reports and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Exposure to business development activities, proposal development and practice growth initiatives.
• Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business, economics, public policy, technology or a related discipline.

Please note, the salary ranges $80k – $100K with respect to your level of experience.
