We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Performance Manager to join our Commercial Excellence team. This role will partner with our growing Brand Marketing teams to drive continuous improvement in our Brand Marketing Operational execution. You will leverage your skills in Brand Management, Commercial Excellence, and Project Implementation to identify opportunities to drive Launch and Implementation excellence across our Brand teams. You will be responsible for driving brand performance with greater levels of insight generation for decision-making. This pivotal role involves driving in-market performance management and supporting marketing excellence at GSK. GSK is on a growth trajectory with new brand launches and high levels of investment in marketing tactics and data infrastructure to drive insights-led marketing initiatives. This role will accelerate that ambition.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Researching potential demand and market characteristics for GSK brands, and collecting and analysing data and other statistical information to support demand planning and resource allocation.
- Supporting business growth through the review of marketing plans, developing monitoring tools for launch and brand plan execution, and conducting gap analysis of marketing plans and programs.
- Commissioning and undertaking primary market research to identify market opportunities for launch and established GSK markets.
- Advising on elements of marketing such as product lifecycle, promotion, and sales promotion.
- Applying statistical modelling methods to determine the potential impact of marketing strategies on market dynamics and GSK sales.
- Monitoring (and automating) performance initiatives, providing regular reporting and insights across GSK brands for the Monthly Performance Review cycle.
- Identifying the performance of marketing implementations and advising on changes to marketing tactics to drive in-market performance.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical Brand Marketing. Operational and Strategic Planning, market segmentation, and business planning is strongly preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in a commercial excellence role within a large, complex business with a passion for performance review, launch planning, and operational excellence. Pharmaceutical experience is strongly preferred.
- Intermediate Excel and analytical capabilities.
- Cross-functional experience working with and managing reporting and technical teams to drive brand performance reporting projects.
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills with experience running projects across complex environments and matrix organisations.
- Experience in driving changes to Marketing processes, including channel enhancements across business units and business environments.
- A degree in Marketing, Commerce, Business Management, Information Systems, Finance, or equivalent experience (desirable) or equivalent work experience.
- The ability to work within a team environment aligned to a Business Insights Team.
