WEX is a global leader in financial technology solutions that simplify business payments, empower mobility, and fuel growth across industries. As Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive both new and existing business.
Working with external agencies and cross-functional teams, you will build compelling campaigns across traditional and digital channels to strengthen brand visibility, engage customers, and attract new prospects. This role spans the full marketing mix — from customer engagement and lead generation to content creation and sales enablement — helping position WEX as a trusted, innovative partner in the payments and mobility space.
You will also develop and refine marketing collateral that brings WEX’s brand and products to life. From thought leadership and product storytelling to tools that support our sales and account teams, you’ll create content that reflects WEX’s expertise, distinct tone of voice, and competitive edge.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and execute a content and campaign plan aligned with key markets, business priorities, and marketing channels.
• Collaborate with agencies to produce high-quality, multi-language content that inspires audiences to engage with WEX brands across both online and offline channels (email, landing pages, case studies, newsletters, blogs, press materials, white papers, and videos).
• Partner with the Senior Content Marketing Manager to ensure all content supports social media strategies, campaign goals, and customer QBRs.
• Work closely with the Digital Marketing team to deliver optimized, customer-focused content for WEX’s multi-language websites.
• Support PR initiatives and earned media activity in partnership with WEX’s global communications and agency teams.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the marketing organization to create engaging customer journey communications and retention campaigns.
• Contribute to broader marketing projects such as campaigns, advertisements, social content, and internal marketing communications as needed.
• Develop and maintain content and collateral for sales enablement — including email templates, product fact sheets, customer guides, presentations, and brochures — empowering Sales, Account Management, and Customer Service teams with the right tools to engage effectively.
KEY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• 7+ years of proven experience in marketing, ideally within a B2B, fintech, or payments environment.
• Strong editorial and content background, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, compelling narratives.
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with mastery of English and proficiency in additional languages (French, German, or Italian desirable).
• Experience creating and localizing content across multiple European markets, with an understanding of cultural and regulatory nuances.
• Skilled in managing cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external agencies.
• Knowledge of AI tools and applications for content generation, personalization, and campaign optimization.
• Experienced in delivering social and digital campaigns, including the use of Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Google Workspace, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Strong grasp of current digital, content, and social media trends.
• Exceptional project management skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives and deadlines simultaneously.
• Creative and proactive thinker who brings new ideas, energy, and innovation to the team.
• Flexible and collaborative team player who remains calm and solutions-oriented in fast-paced environments.
