Orange Sky exists to support Australians who are facing challenges in their lives, including homelessness, financial hardship, limited access to laundry facilities or temporary displacement due to a natural disaster. We are committed to being there when it’s needed most, offering free laundry services, warm showers and friendly chats with volunteers. Our Marketing Team brings this mission to life by sharing powerful stories, building awareness and inviting others to be part of the journey. The Role
We love sharing stories. Over the last nine years, we’ve positively connected thousands of people simply by sharing stories and starting conversations. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, this full-time, permanent role will lead the execution and governance of Orange Sky’s brand and communications strategy. You will protect and evolve our brand identity, ensuring consistency, recognition, and trust across all touchpoints while leading a high-performing team to deliver impactful marketing and brand initiatives.
In a nutshell, the Marketing Manager (Brand & Communications) will:
Champion the brand and tell our story
You’ll lead the execution of our brand, communications, and marketing strategy across all touchpoints, using storytelling, messaging and design to maintain a differentiated market presence. You will oversee holistic brand experiences, including brand-led campaigns, communications and visual identity, while ensuring projects and resources are managed effectively, within budget and aligned with organisational goals.
Protect brand integrity and inspire engagement
Continuous improvement, innovation and imagination are in our DNA at Orange Sky. As the guardian of our brand, you'll ensure our visual identity, tone of voice and messaging remain authentic and consistent across all platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams, content developers and external agencies to launch new initiatives, define existing programs and bring our mission to life for volunteers, friends, supporters and partners.
Empower people and drive data-informed impact
Leading and mentoring direct reports will come naturally to you. You will inspire your team, clear roadblocks and provide professional development opportunities while nurturing a positive work culture. With an analytical mindset, you will track brand health, audience sentiment and performance data to continuously refine strategies and elevate our overall brand impact.
