You'll be a part of our Marketing and Client Services team, ideally based in Melbourne or Sydney, and help drive smarter engagement, digital delivery, and marketing effectiveness across the firm.

In this hands-on role, you’ll work across several key areas to ensure our marketing data is accurate, accessible, and meaningful, and supports our go-to-market strategy. Your work will empower stakeholders to make informed, data-led decisions and build trust in our marketing data ecosystem.

As a Digital Marketing Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
 

Analytics and reporting:

  • Support reporting across platforms such as InterAction (CRM), Marketo (email marketing), Power BI (reporting dashboard), and GA4 (website analytics). Help stakeholders explore engagement trends, inform targeting, and surface insights aligned with their goals.

  • Demonstrate experience using marketing technologies such as CRMs (e.g. InterAction), marketing automation/email platforms (e.g. Marketo), website CMS, and/or Google Analytics.

  • Leverage AI to analyse and interpret marketing data, driving innovative solutions and informed decision-making.
     

Digital delivery:

  • Assist with building website content, reporting on content performance, and conducting behavioural analytics and UX observations.
     

Data management and governance:

  • Contribute to data quality processes, segmentation and tagging, and support testing and refinement of data pipelines across systems.
     

Strategic analysis and continuous improvement:

  • Stay up to date with marketing analytics trends and explore opportunities to enhance reporting tools, data integration, and automation.
     

What does a typical week look like:

  • Support analysis of a recent email marketing campaign, reporting on key engagement metrics such as open rate, click-through rate, and website traffic, ensuring insights are actionable for future content and segmentation strategies.

  • Collaborate with the engagement reporting project team to drive continuous improvement of analytics features, focusing on marketing-relevant data and user experience.

  • Present to the business development team on leveraging existing reporting templates in our CRM tool, InterAction, to measure and communicate client engagement outcomes, with a focus on marketing context and business impact.

  • Partner with the IT team and other relevant stakeholders to map, test, and implement a new data field in InterAction, supporting data quality and marketing analytics needs.

  • Assist the campaigns team in publishing thought leadership content on the Allens website.

  • Attend an external webinar on AI for data analysis, summarising key takeaways and sharing actionable insights with internal stakeholders to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

  • Contribute valuable updates to our marketing technology systems and processes documentation on Confluence and ensure it is accessible to the wider team.

About you

You will have:

  • Experience in analytics, digital marketing, reporting or data coordination within marketing contexts is essential, such as campaign performance, client insights and engagement, and/or digital channel optimisation.

  • Curiosity and analytical skills — proactively explores data, asks thoughtful questions and use AI to connect dots across systems to uncover meaningful insights and paint the full picture.

  • Attention to detail — produces accurate work, spots data anomalies, and maintains quality in reports, dashboards, and documentation.

  • Strong communication skills — able to clearly explain data-driven insights, not just numbers, to non-technical audiences and tailor messages for different stakeholder groups.

  • Adaptability and self-direction — comfortable learning new tools and adjusting to evolving business priorities, platforms, and reporting needs.
