Job Description

The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Marketing Automation Specialist to join the marketing team.

We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual with hands‑on experience in Microsoft Customer Insights suite (formerly Dynamics 365 Marketing) or a similar Marketing Automation Platform to help elevate our member engagement.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager – Member Engagement and Digital, you will assist in the development, optimisation, and performance of automated journeys that deliver personalised, data-driven member experiences.

As the Marketing Automation Specialist you will work with the wider Marketing team and other parts of the business to build robust marketing automation strategies, enhance customer segmentation, and drive continuous improvements across our CRM and marketing technology stack.

In the role you will:

  • Design, build, and optimise multi‑channel member journeys using Microsoft Customer Insights – Journeys and Data
  • Develop and maintain dynamic segmentation, lead scoring, and personalisation frameworks
  • Create automated workflows to support lifecycle marketing, onboarding, retention, and engagement
  • Deliver on lead, pipeline and revenue metrics by developing and implementing marketing campaigns to build brand awareness and generate leads and enquiries
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Experience teams to understand business needs and translate them into automation solutions
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with privacy requirements
  • Monitor campaign and journey performance; provide actionable insights and reporting
  • Support the ongoing evolution of our CRM/marketing automation roadmap
  • Maintain documentation, templates, and best practices for marketing automation processes

Qualifications

You will bring experience with Microsoft Customer Insights – Journeys (or a similar platform) and a strong understanding of marketing automation, member journey mapping, and digital engagement. You are confident working with CRM data, segmentation, and analytics, and can build complex, logic-driven workflows. Strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential.

Key skills and experience:

  • Microsoft Customer Insights – Journeys (or similar)
  • CRM data modelling, segmentation, and analytics
  • Building automated journeys with triggers and conditional logic
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 CRM and content creation (desirable)
  • Membership-based environments and project tools such as JIRA (preferred)
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications and experience marketing through intermediaries (advantageous)
