Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Market Access & Public Affairs Director to join our team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will lead our market access strategy, ensuring optimal reimbursement and access for Ipsen brands in Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Development: Provide strong leadership to the Market Access and Health Economics team, coaching and mentoring colleagues to enhance their capabilities.
  • Government & Policy Affairs: Shape the environment for access and reward for innovation by working with Federal and State Government, Department of Health, and HTA agencies.
  • HTA Submissions: Oversee and manage HTA submissions to PBAC, MSAC, and PHARMAC, ensuring alignment with strategic brand plans.
  • Public Affairs: Develop and support external public relations opportunities, advancing Ipsen's interests with decision-making bodies and monitoring public policy changes.
  • Operational Pricing: Track and report pricing changes, lead tendering strategies, and develop commercial deals and tenders.

Essential:

  • 2+ years’ experience within senior leadership
  • Minimum of 5 years direct experience with HE analyses and HTA submissions
  • Previous project management experience
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Degree in Economics, Medical/Health sciences, Pharmacy, or equivalent
