Job Overview
The SMB Sales Manager is a pivotal role responsible for the strategic leadership and operational management of a sales team focused on outside direct sales within a designated geographic area. They will take complete control of hiring, training, and developing a successful sales team, ensuring the team's productivity aligns with the company's sales goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Increase market share and achieve and exceed performance targets related to subscribers, revenue, churn and CPGA.
  • Meet or exceed overall sales quota for your assigned region.
  • Implement key operational initiatives while maintaining high ethical and procedural standards.
  • Coordinate and run frequent sales meetings.
  • Interview, hire, train, and develop a staff of successful Account Executives.
  • Conduct ongoing mentoring/coaching in the field.
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.
  • Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • Work Experience:
  • 4-7 years Verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience within a commissioned environment (Required)
  • People management responsibilities (Preferred)
  • Telecommunications / technical sales (Preferred)
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Mentoring Strong coaching skills (Required)
  • Presentations Talent to confidently make presentations to large groups as well as one on one (Required)
  • Business Sales A proven track record of high yield business sales success (Required)
  • Negotiation Well-honed negotiation skills (Required)
  • Recruiting Familiarity with basic HR/Recruiting processes in order to attract and retain top sales talent (Required)

Total Target Cash Pay Range: $126,500 - $228,300, inclusive of target incentives

Base Pay Range: $88,550 - $159,810

The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
