Manager – DevOps & Platform Engineering Consulting

We're looking for a Manager, DevOps & Platform Engineering Consulting who enjoys solving complex challenges, working with diverse teams, and helping clients transform the way they build, secure, and deliver technology.

This role combines technical leadership, consulting, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring. You'll work alongside architects, engineers, developers, security specialists, and client teams to design practical solutions that create measurable outcomes.

Australian Citizenship is required for this role.

What You'll Do

• Partner with clients to improve software delivery, DevOps maturity, and engineering capabilities.
• Assess current ways of working and identify opportunities to enhance automation, security, quality, and delivery performance.
• Design and implement DevOps and DevSecOps frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Define roadmaps for modern engineering and platform transformation initiatives.
• Lead the design of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code solutions, and cloud-based delivery platforms.
• Support teams throughout project delivery, from strategy and mobilisation through to implementation and adoption.
• Mentor engineers and delivery teams, helping to build capability and foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across technology, security, and business teams to solve complex challenges.

What You'll Bring

You may bring experience in several of the following areas:

• DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering.
• CI/CD design and implementation.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or similar technologies.
• Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Azure DevOps, GitLab, Git, and modern engineering toolchains.
• Kubernetes and container-based architectures.
• Security automation and DevSecOps practices.
• Engineering governance, standards, and quality frameworks.
• Automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
