About the Role (your why)
As Manager - Business Operations, you’ll lead Statements of Work (SOWs), Rough Orders of Magnitude (ROMs) governance and proposal management, drive AI/automation initiatives, and push process improvements across the Datacom presales teams. You’ll triage presales opportunities, remove blockers, and accelerate SOW turnaround, championing innovative tech to raise presales standards in Managed Services.
The ideal candidate brings a passion for AI and a track record of elevating presales practices.

What you’ll do
At the moment, as Manager – Business Operations you will be focused on:
- SOW Governance & Proposal Management: maintain pre-sales admin for SOWs/ROMs, oversee end-to-end SOW/minor deals processes, coordinate content across service lines, ensure quality and compliance, and keep clients informed.
- AI, Automation and Change Champion: identify, evaluate and implement AI/automation tools to streamline presales, pilot new technologies, and establish best practices for sustainable adoption.
- Process Improvement and Business Operations: lead cross-functional teams, develop process-metrics, collect data to identify root causes, measure performance, and conduct cost/benefit analyses
- Professional Services and Stakeholder Engagement: govern the sales-to-delivery cycle for managed services, engage diverse stakeholders, be a point of escalation and foster cross-service-line collaboration.

What you’ll bring
Required experience:
- 6+ years of experience in a bid, solutions or proposal management function.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end sales-to-delivery cycle within a professional services and managed services business.
- Previous experience in a project or service delivery management experience.
- Knowledge of the bid/sales and SOW process within a technical services environment. Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of end-to-end sales-to-delivery lifecycles
- Solid financial management practices with a clear understanding of the relationship between costs, utilisation, revenue and profitability.
- Proven ability to lead collaborative, cross-functional teams to achieve organisational goals
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical, consultative and problem-solving skills
- Experience un using AI Agents as part of your day-to-day job
Nice to have:
- Experience working within a Tier 2 Service Provider environment
- Strong understanding of IT Outsourcing services and service delivery models
- Exposure to proposal automation tools.
- Experience in building AI Agents
- Experience in delivering multi-line and complex transformation-based projects for a Managed Service Provider.
