About the Role

As the Manager, Advisory Quality Management you will champion quality as a strategic driver of BDO’s success for the Advisory service line.

This role will include:

  • Quality Assurance: Developing and implementing quality control processes to ensure that services meet established standards.

  • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks, assessing their impact, and developing strategies to mitigate them.

  • Compliance: Ensuring that services comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.

  • Continuous Improvement: Monitoring performance and implementing improvements to enhance service quality and reduce risks.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Help to lead the Quality Management team for BDO’s Advisory service line.

  • Design and implement fit-for-purpose quality policies, procedures, processes, and resources.

  • Ensure staff are provided with appropriate software tools, technical manuals, guidance materials, learning and technical support to perform engagements.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Interpret the findings, deficiencies and related root causes from internal and external monitoring and information-gathering processes.

About You

  • A bachelor's degree in business, management, finance, or a related field.

  • Experience in professional services, with strong knowledge of relevant professional services standards and regulations.

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), or similar will be highly regarded.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in quality assurance, risk management, or a related field with the professional services environment.

  • Experience in developing and implementing quality control systems and processes.

  • Proven track record of managing risks and ensuring compliance with regulations.

  • Experience in training and developing staff on quality and risk management practices.
