About the Role
As a Customer Service Consultant, you'll support an existing member base by handling inbound enquiries on behalf of a trusted not-for-profit organisation providing a vital service to the community.
You'll be the first point of contact for members, assisting them with queries, providing information and updating membership records while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
· Handling inbound customer enquiries in a professional, empathetic, and friendly manner
· Assisting members with membership updates and facilitating payments
· Making outbound retention calls, assisting members to renew their memberships
· Providing clear information regarding membership coverage and processes
· Processing account updates across multiple systems
· Resolving customer enquiries efficiently while maintaining high service standards
· Following established procedures, compliance guidelines and quality frameworks
What We're Looking For
We're looking for friendly, customer-focused people who enjoy helping others and communicating with confidence.
You may come from a contact centre, hospitality, retail, reception or other customer service background.
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Excellent communication skills and a confident phone manner
- Strong listening and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to build rapport and trust with customers
- Confidence working across multiple computer systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
- Resilience in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work rotating shifts
Contact Centre experience is highly regarded, but not essential. Candidates with strong customer service experience in hospitality, retail or similar industries are encouraged to apply.
Working Hours
This role operates on a rotating roster within the following hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 8:00pm
- Saturday: 9:00am to 5:00pm
