Job Description

As the “My Dan Murphy’s” Loyalty Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end execution of loyalty in our customer trade plan calendar and loyalty program operations. 

This role acts as a day-to-day champion of the “My Dan’s” loyalty program, for the Loyalty team managed by the Senior Loyalty Manager, driving commercial and engaging activities to grow and retain the member base. 

The Loyalty Marketing Lead works horizontally across the business to ensure consistent program execution and provides key support to the broader marketing team.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

  • Reporting to the Senior Loyalty Manager, you will work with them to input into and translate the overarching loyalty strategy into a clear, compelling customer value proposition (CVP) and a quarterly trade plan calendar.
  • Own and lead the end-to-end project management and execution of the loyalty trade plan calendar.This includes coordinating all commercial and engaging activities across channels such as in-store/point-of-sale, email/lifecycle marketing, and digital media.
  • Lead the end-to-end creative & operational execution of new growth initiatives, from planning to
  • post-campaign review, ensuring a seamless and valuable experience for members.
  • Develop creative briefs and communications for all internal stakeholders and channel agencies to ensure clarity and consistency of the My Dan’s message.
  • Oversee and govern the execution of offers capability, partnering closely with Customer Engagement and Product teams on strategy & planning to develop a pipeline of Loyalty Offers & rewards.
  • Lead Program Endorsement Strategy by partnering with Operations and Store Leadership to ensure the My Dan's loyalty program is a proactive commercial priority, deeply embedded in operational strategy, and fully endorsed across the organisation.
  • Lead strategic performance analysis by directing loyalty KPI measurement, conducting deep post-campaign reviews, and circulating key insights across the business to inform future strategy.
  • Manage external vendors and agency relationships to ensure all projects are delivered to a high standard.
  • Act as the programme champion and subject matter expert for the loyalty programme, embedding it across the business to build awareness and drive consistency in execution.
  • Coordinate a regular operating rhythm with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of actions and resolve any misalignments in planned activity.
     

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a loyalty marketing or general marketing role, ideally within a retail or direct-to-consumer environment.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end project management and execution.
  • Foundational understanding of digital technologies and how they can be used to create customer experiences.
  • Experience in managing day-to-day operational tasks and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
  • A highly organised and detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated capability in using and analysing customer data and applying its use in campaign measurement.
