  • Supporting the Logistics Management Team with the rollout and execution of new projects and strategic initiatives
  • Providing input into freight and warehousing cost analysis, and assisting in tender processes
  • Continuously looking for smarter and more efficient ways of working to improve logistics performance and customer outcomes

To be successful in this role, you should be:

  • University degree qualified in a relevant field (Commerce, Business, Logistics & Supply Chain, or similar).

  • Process-oriented and detail-driven, with a strong ability to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions
  • Comfortable reconciling invoices and managing financial processes with accuracy and diligence
  • Forward-thinking with an understanding of how to leverage AI tools and data analytics to automate routine tasks, optimize supply chain predictability, and drive smarter decision-making.
  • A natural communicator who thrives in collaborative environments and knows how to engage stakeholders
  • Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
