Leveraging the kind of leading-edge US capabilities and technology most can only imagine, our close-knit 800-strong team is busy delivering World-leading solutions to safeguard Australia’s future. And, together, we’re growing a business where everyone contributes and everyone matters.

Northrop Grumman Australia provides the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) with through-life support for its fleet of KC-30A Multi-role Tanker Transport (MRTT) aircraft—a derivative of the Airbus A330-200. The platform is a trusted and proven asset and the program is continually growing in capability and expertise.

Your Role

As a Logistics Quality Assurance Specialist reporting to the Supply Operations Manager, your responsibilities will be critical and multifaceted. Primarily, you will identify and investigate Quality (Defect) Notifications pertaining to non-conforming Contractor Managed Commonwealth Assets (CMCA) and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) entering or stored in Defence warehouses. Strong stakeholder engagement skills are essential as you will frequently coordinate with internal and external parties to optimise processes and compliance. Your role will be instrumental in enhancing process efficiencies and supporting the sustainment of Authorised to Fit Products through diligent obsolescence management.

About You

You possess deep knowledge and practical experience in the inspection, receipt, and disposal of Commonwealth-owned products. Your proficiency with in-service Supply support of Defence aeronautical products is well-established, and you are adept in using MILIS, CAMM2, SAP, or similar Inventory/Maintenance Management Systems. Your familiarity with Defence Supply and Technical Regulations and inventory management policies further qualifies you for this role.

Additionally, your strong stakeholder engagement skills have consistently enabled effective communication and collaboration with diverse groups, ensuring alignment and compliance with operational objectives. As a strong team player who can also function independently, you have proven your ability to self-manage and collaborate effectively within larger groups. What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
