Legal Solutions Account Manager 

Thomson Reuters are seeking a Legal Solutions Account Manager to support out Australia market. Based in Sydney or Melbourne this role will lead and grow high value relationships across the Australian legal sector. You will manage a defined book of business and partner with C-suite and executive stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions powered by legal content, and software solutions. You will own multiyear account strategies, orchestrate cross functional sales execution, and ensure exceptional service delivery that drives measurable client outcomes. 

Success means consistently achieving profitable growth through upsells, cross-sells, product migrations and upgrades, and disciplined price yield management, while maintaining accurate forecasting and pipeline health. You will cultivate a deep network within each client to position our organization as a trusted strategic advisor, guiding them through technology transformation and maximizing the value of our portfolio. About the Role

In this opportunity as Legal Solutions Account Manager, you will:

  • Own and execute growth-centric account strategies for designated accounts to drive revenue growth and retention. 

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities to expand the customer footprint across Australia.  

  • Proactively progress commercial conversations, while identifying and capturing growth opportunities across new and existing accounts.

  • Maintain deep knowledge of client workflows and challenges; act as TR's ambassador and trusted advisor through AI and legal-tech transformation. 

  • Build multi-level relationships across client organizations; enable peer-to-peer connections via TR thought leadership, networking events, and account-based marketing programs. 

  • Lead clients with market and industry insights, advising on legal technology, AI developments, and Thomson Reuters' product roadmap. 

  • Maintain current expertise on all TR products/solutions and collaborate cross-functionally, including with client subsidiaries and territory managers, to maximize value. 

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Legal Solutions Account Manager if you have the following required qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of the legal industry. 

  • 5+ years' experience managing high-value accounts in highly competitive multinational environments. 

  • Ability to effectively communicate at executive level. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to influence key client and internal stakeholders on cross functional basis. 

  • Problem solving skills and ability to understand, articulate, structure and solve client needs. 

  • Presentation and communication skills: ability to deliver presentations and communicate at all levels within an organization.
