Key responsibilities:
- Manage dispute resolution matters including litigation (in liaison with external lawyers)
- Advise the MMS business on risk, strategy, and resolution pathways
- Represent MMS in negotiations and proceedings
- Stay informed on legal practice developments and contribute to team knowledge
- Provide clear, transparent and regular reporting on complaint volumes, systemic themes and resolution timelines
- Partner with the Customer Advocate (independent escalation point for internal dispute resolution) to maintain clear delineation between internal and external dispute resolution and avoid conflict of interest
- Ensure compliance with AFSL, ACL, and third-party licensee obligations
- Liaise with regulators including ASIC, ACCC, OAIC, and NDIA
- Ensure the Group holds all required permits and licenses across Australia
You will bring:
- 4+ years’ experience in legal dispute resolution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to legal issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
