Job Responsibilities:
The Learning & Development Coordinator will support the Magna Learning & Development team in administering training events including in class training as well as digital learning initiatives. The Learning & Development Coordinator will support the full cycle of administering training events from scheduling to evaluation.
Your Responsibilities
- Facilitate end-to-end coordination of training sessions, including venue logistics, technology setup, learning materials, and catering, ensuring a seamless learner experience.
- Provide operational support for training delivery, including accurate data entry, expense reconciliation, and timely processing of invoices to maintain financial integrity.
- Maintain and promote learning offerings by ensuring offerings are current in Workday and effectively communicated across multiple internal channels.
- Lead the coordination of the Leadership Excellence programs (LE1 & LE2), managing participant communications, scheduling, vendor relations, and progress tracking, while serving as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders.
- Execute administrative processes across the training lifecycle, including pre-session preparation, day-of execution, and post-session wrap-up, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) by setting up and managing courses, collaborating with global teams to implement best practices, testing new content, generating reports, and providing user support to HR partners.
Who we are looking for
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a corporate environment.
- Strong working knowledge of LMS platforms and learning technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage several priorities at once.
Your preferred qualifications
- Previous experience working in a corporate environment is preferred.
- Adult education or HR background considered an asset.
