What’s on offer?
We currently have a vacancy for a Leading Hand to join our Metro Civils Infrastructure Services team where you will be working on multiple projects around Sydney metro area.
You'll be a proven leader who can support and motivate site teams – ensuring the focus remains on safety, quality, cost and schedule in the planning and execution of work.
Core responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement SWMS, and lead daily pre-starts to address site requirements.
- Plan and manage scheduling, forecasting, procurement and coordination of materials, plant, personnel and subcontractors.
- Work with the engineering team to develop, maintain and report on project programmes (weekly/monthly updates).
- Track and record daily productivity targets, delays and issues, and monitor project costs.
- Proactively resolve daily site issues and undertake regular safety and environmental audits in line with Fulton Hogan procedures.
- Provide performance, safety, quality and timeliness feedback to the Project Manager for individuals and the team.
How you’ll connect to the role?
- Experience in delivering profitability on civil construction projects within a safe working environment;
- Excellent organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines;
- The ability to positively influence and lead a team;
- A proven commitment to site safety;
- Computer literacy with demonstrated ability to complete reports in a timely manner.
