About the role
As the Lead Workforce Optimisation Analyst, you will support the delivery and optimisation of Dynamic Rostering through analytics, reporting and workforce insights. You will provide key lead indicators to Operations site teams and leadership by translating complex workforce, worked hours and cost data into meaningful insights that support decision making.
What's involved:
- Support the rollout and optimisation of Dynamic Rostering through analytics, reporting and stakeholder partnership
- Delivery and articulation of complex rostering, worked hours and workforce data into simple, intuitive insights and visualisations
- Production of accurate, reliable and timely reporting on Salary & Wages costs, labour utilisation and coverage requirements
- Support forecasting strategies and improving roster accuracy through data-driven insights
- Provide analytics to support new EBA requirements including monitoring worked hours, team member patterns and compliance indicators
- Influence and partner with key stakeholders to deliver sustainable workforce outcomes
- Design and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions that enable operational leaders to make informed decisions
Who we're looking for
You are an analytical and outcome-driven problem solver who thrives on turning complex data into actionable insights. You are adaptable, commercially minded and confident working with senior stakeholders to influence workforce decisions.
You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and can balance strategic thinking with strong delivery capability, both autonomously and within a high performing team.
You’ll need:
- Demonstrated experience in workforce management, rostering or similar field
- Strong experience building analytical models, dashboards and reporting solutions using Excel, Power BI or similar tools
- Knowledge of key data manipulation and analysis techniques
- Working knowledge of SQL, Python or similar programming languages
- Previous Knowledge of UKG or similar rostering tool.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical insights into clear business messaging
