Contribute to the work of Credit Risk - Pay by providing information, analysis, recommendations and support for portfolio monitoring, development and implementation activities to share in the delivery of sustainable growth for the A&NZ Credit Card portfolios.

What will you contribute to?

  • Produce reports, analysis and recommendations to highlight risk issues.
  • Monitoring the performance of the portfolio, identifying trends and communicating them to the wider business in a clear and concise manner.
  • Undertake analysis to determine the impact of portfolio strategy changes to areas of application and account management.
  • Function as a key contributor to the Pay credit risk team upholding the values placed on high quality, comprehensive and accurate insights that are both relevant and actionable.
  • Collaborate cross functionally and at times be willing and prepared to work within project teams to deliver on business initiatives and during this requirement ensure the interests of the credit department are upheld.
  • In the event of operational risk events that credit risk are assigned ownership for – work cross functionally and in some cases drive delivery of the actions required to close such events.
  • Facilitate such meetings, productions, presentations and stakeholder management that would be required for governance, portfolio / product review and audit purposes

To grow and be successful in the role, you will:

  • Bring a curious and business outcome focused approach partnered with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Graduate or experienced in a numerate discipline
  • Can code in SAS/SQL/Python to extract, analyse and make recommendations for specific pieces of analytics.
  • Can use Power BI/ MS Excel to manipulate, visualise and interpret large volumes of data.
  • Basic project management skills
  • Bring strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with capabilities to articulate complex analytical information.
  • Proven experience to own and deliver analytical projects to tight timeline.
  • Ability to work in a very dynamic environment where priorities can change frequently.
  • Collaborative, team player.
  • Ability to demonstrate the Latitude values and behaviours  
  • Experience in a credit risk function
  • You are familiar with AI tools - comfortable using tools to accelerate insights, automate routine work, prepare reporting, and tailor content quickly and effectively.
  • Hands on experience in credit risk analytics
