Lead RF Design Engineer
Doodle Labs is a fast-growing technology leader in advanced wireless solutions for robotics and defense applications. We’re looking for an experienced Design Engineer who can own the end-to-end development of Wi-Fi-based hardware systems — from concept to production — while leading a cross-functional engineering team to deliver world-class products.
What You’ll Do
You will lead the design, testing, and production handover of advanced RF, digital, and analog hardware systems. Success means delivering fully functional, high-performance products — on time and to spec — while mentoring and guiding your team.
In Your First Year, You Will:
- Design & Deliver complete digital, analog, and RF hardware systems based on Wi-Fi IC solutions.
- Produce schematics, BOM, Gerber files, and PCBA.
- Achieve working prototypes within 6–9 months.
- Test & Verify system performance.
- Execute RF and signal parameter testing with spectrum analyzer, power meter, LitePoint, R&S testers, and other tools.
- Meet 802.11 standards.
- Handover to production within 3 months post-verification.
- Lead a Cross-Functional Team (Hardware, Software, Mechanical).
- Define architecture, create project plans, track milestones.
- Mentor engineers in best practices and problem-solving.
- Partner with Manufacturing
- Oversee PCBA bring-up, test, calibration, QA, and production readiness.
- Solve Complex Technical Challenges
- High-frequency circuit design, RF optimization, and evolving customer
requirements.

What You’ll Bring
- Strong track record in RF, digital, and analog hardware design.
- Experience in guiding schematic capture, BOM, Gerber, and PCBA bring-up.
- Proficiency in RF/Wi-Fi system testing and troubleshooting.
- Leadership skills to guide cross-functional engineering teams.
- Familiarity with RF instruments, LitePoint, R&S testers, Ubuntu platforms.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments.
