Job Description

Lead NetSuite Functional Consultant 

We are seeking an experienced Lead NetSuite Functional Consultant to guide the design and delivery of NetSuite implementations for mid-market and enterprise organizations. This role is responsible for leading functional discovery, translating business requirements into scalable NetSuite solutions, and driving successful system implementations from design through go-live and optimization. 

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in NetSuite ERP, with strong experience delivering end-to-end implementations across multiple industries and verticals such as Wholesale Distribution, Manufacturing, Field Service, and Professional Services. They can lead both client stakeholders and consulting teams through complex transformation initiatives. 

  

Key Responsibilities 

Implementation Leadership 

  • Lead end-to-end NetSuite ERP implementations including discovery, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment 

  • Drive functional workshops to understand business processes and define system requirements 

  • Translate operational and financial requirements into scalable NetSuite solutions 

  • Provide solution architecture guidance across core ERP and manufacturing modules 

  • Ensure implementations follow structured delivery methodology and best practices 

Solution Design & Configuration 

  • Design and configure NetSuite solutions across multiple leading practice areas, such as:  

  • Financial & Revenue Management 

  • Item Management 

  • Lead to Quote, Order to Cash & Return to Credit 

  • Procure to Pay & Return to Debit 

  • Project & Resource Management 

  • Demand Planning & Plan to Produce 

  • Align system configuration with operational efficiency and reporting requirements 

  • Design and create basic customisations using SuiteAnalytics, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteFlow tools 

Client Advisory 

  • Serve as the primary functional advisor to client leadership and project stakeholders 

  • Provide recommendations on process improvement, system design, and ERP adoption 

  • Guide clients in defining phased rollouts and prioritizing capabilities required for initial launch versus future optimization 

Project & Team Leadership 

  • Lead functional workstreams across multiple implementation projects 

  • Mentor junior consultants and review solution designs and configuration work 

  • Collaborate closely with technical consultants on integrations, automation, and customizations 

  • Support project managers in maintaining scope, timelines, and delivery quality 

Quality & Documentation 

  • Produce and maintain functional design documentation 

  • Lead testing cycles including system integration testing and user acceptance testing 

  • Support training and knowledge transfer for client teams 

  • Ensure deliverables meet internal quality standards and implementation best practices 

  

Required Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of NetSuite ERP implementation experience 

  • Proven experience leading full lifecycle NetSuite implementations 

  • Deep functional knowledge of core NetSuite ERP modules, including:  

  • Financials 

  • Order Management 

  • Procurement 

  • Inventory Management 

  • Strong ability to translate operational requirements into system configuration 

  • Experience leading client workshops and presenting solutions to executive stakeholders 

  

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Qualifications and/or experience in specialist NetSuite areas such as Advanced Manufacturing, Advanced Revenue Management, and/or Field Service Management 

  • Background in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain operations 

  • Experience with multi-subsidiary or global NetSuite deployments 

  • Familiarity with integrations, SuiteFlow, and common NetSuite ecosystem solutions 

  • NetSuite certifications (ERP Consultant, SuiteFoundation, etc.)
