Job Description
Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insights? Join our EngOps team at Cash App as a BI Analyst, where you'll play a key role in driving engineering operational excellence. Your work will directly influence strategic decision-making and operational efficiency across our engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of Engineering Operational Excellence at Cash App to uncover and highlight valuable insights.
• Lead data-driven research and analysis on the operational performance of engineering teams, identifying areas for improvement.
• Apply advanced statistical methods to interpret complex data sets, identifying trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Design and implement data visualizations (e.g., in Looker, Mode) that are both insightful and accessible to stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed reports summarizing your analysis, with clear recommendations for strategic decision-making.
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications
The ideal BI Analyst for this role:

• Has 5+ years of experience in solving complex data problems, with a focus on operational metrics.
• Possesses strong research and statistical analysis skills.
• Is capable of working independently, prioritizing tasks, and delivering results with minimal supervision.
• Excels at communicating complex quantitative insights clearly and actionably to diverse audiences.
• Has a proven track record of leading and executing high-impact data projects, often with cross-functional teams.
• Focuses on delivering incremental milestones, with a willingness to iterate and improve quickly.
