Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Lead Architect in Microsoft Azure to drive architectural excellence and provide strategic technical leadership. In this role, you will be the bridge between complex business requirements and high-performing technical solutions, ensuring every design aligns with enterprise strategy and global security standards.
As a Lead Architect, you won't just design systems—you will define the standards, patterns, and guardrails that shape our technical future.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Own the end-to-end solution and enterprise architecture for your squad, ensuring alignment with Microsoft Azure best practices.
- Strategy & Standards: Define and maintain architectural patterns and governance frameworks to ensure scalability and security.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate business needs into robust target-state architectures.
- Governance: Lead technical design reviews and oversee architecture governance across the delivery lifecycle.
- Enablement: Support pre-sales activities, provide accurate estimations, and contribute to long-term roadmap planning.
- Mentorship: Act as a technical beacon, mentoring architects and engineers to elevate the collective capability of the team.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven Expertise: Significant experience in Enterprise and Solution Architecture roles within complex environments.
- Azure Mastery: Deep, hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture and cloud-native design.
- Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and influence strategic decision-making.
Desirable Skills
- Frameworks: Experience working within TOGAF and Agile delivery methodologies.
