The Launch Modelling Specialist coordinates the deployment process of Halter's technology, ensuring timely installations and excellent communication with farmers and contractors.
Halter is looking for a Launch Modelling Specialist to join our Deployment Operations team to coordinate the journey our farmers go on to get Halter’s revolutionary technology installed on their farm. You will be responsible for the initial part of the customer’s deployment process with Halter. You will work in the high-performing, cross-functional Launch team, playing a key part in our customer’s onboarding experience. You will be directly responsible for delivering the highest quality deployment experience to our farmers. You will work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders; our customers, external contractors and our Launch and Customer Success teams.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where they will be challenged daily and encouraged to think outside the box to create more efficient and scalable processes. To succeed, you must learn quickly, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
This is a fixed term contract for 6 months, based in our Auckland HQ, five days a week.
What your day could look like
- Coordinating with third-party contractors to schedule work on our customer farms.
- Maintaining high-quality working relationships with our current pool of contractors, and ensure their work is delivered on time and on spec.
- Conducting radio modelling analysis of farms, creation of install plans and communication of install plans to customers.
- General customer communication, supporting by answering relevant questions as needed
- Supporting the wider Launch team to ensure we collectively meet customer deadlines to enable seamless deployment
What we're looking for
- Experience in a project management/coordination role would be beneficial but not a must-have, we're looking for someone who has excellent time-management skills and can clinically plan things.
- Exceptional communication skills, you will be coordinating with team members and contractors in various regions
- High attention to detail, you will need to ensure work carried out by contractors and casual employees is to a high standard and completed in a timely manner
- Excellent time organization skills, you will be working to set cycle times
- A proactive thinker who is able to cultivate process improvement
- If you have any experience in the geospatial/mapping industry with an understanding of and experience with Linux, Python or Photoshop, that would be a HUGE plus but not a must-have.
