This role will represent Viscount in the Queensland market, leading the retention, growth and strategic development of key customer accounts across our pooling and manufacturing portfolio.

Working closely with customers and internal teams, the role will play an important part in strengthening long-term partnerships, identifying new commercial opportunities and supporting sustainable growth across the Fresh Produce, Bakery, Protein, Seafood and Dairy sectors.

About this opportunity

As Key Account Manager – QLD, you will be responsible for managing and growing a significant customer portfolio of more than 120 accounts and over $30M in revenue. You will build trusted relationships with customers, understand their supply chain needs and partner across the business to deliver reusable, efficient and customer-led solutions that support Viscount’s circularity and sustainability ambitions.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead the retention, development and growth of key Queensland accounts across Viscount’s pooling and manufacturing portfolio.
  • Build trusted, long-term customer partnerships that position Viscount as a preferred provider of reusable supply chain solutions.
  • Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers.
  • Manage account budgets, forecasts and commercial performance, including risks, opportunities and growth priorities.
  • Support disciplined pricing strategies and commercial outcomes aligned to business objectives.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Customer Service, Quality, Production and Engineering to support demand planning, supply continuity and service excellence.
  • Use market, customer and competitor insights to inform account planning and strengthen Viscount’s position in the Queensland market.

Your skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • Strong customer focus and relationship management skills
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across all levels
  • Experience managing strategic customer accounts in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Experience within supply chain, manufacturing, reusable packaging, pooling or fresh food industries (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems (Salesforce) and reporting tools
  • Strong communication skills with confidence engaging senior customer stakeholders
