Purpose
The Junior Renewals Associate is responsible for managing and executing the renewal process for SMB customers across the ANZ region. The core focus of this role is to retain customers by clearly demonstrating value, ensuring a smooth renewal experience, and identifying opportunities for account growth.
This is a high-volume, execution-focused role suited to someone early in their career who thrives in a structured environment, is highly organised, and is motivated by hitting targets and continuously improving how they work.
What You'll Bring
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience in a customer-facing role (e.g. Customer Success, Support, Implementation, or similar)
- Familiarity with HammerTech or similar platforms (e.g. Procore, Autodesk) and an understanding of common customer/system pain points
- Previous sales experience (ideal but not mandatory)
- Construction industry experience (ideal but not mandatory)
- Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (ideal but not mandatory)
Abilities:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to run structured customer conversations
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple accounts and prioritise effectively
- Analytical and data-driven in decision making
- Curious, proactive learner with the ability to quickly develop sales and negotiation skills
- Comfortable learning and using CRM and internal tools (Salesforce, Vitally, Power BI)
- Able to leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and reduce admin
- Resilient and motivated by targets and performance
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage a portfolio of SMB customer renewals end-to-end
- Proactively engage customers via calls and email to drive timely renewals
- Run structured renewal and check-in calls to reinforce product value
- Prepare quotes, pricing, and order forms and close renewal deals
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly renewal (retention) targets
- Contribute to expansion revenue targets through upsells and cross-sells
- Maintain sufficient pipeline coverage to reliably hit targets and forecast accurately
- Track personal performance against targets and adjust approach to close gaps
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in tools such as Salesforce
- Prioritise renewal pipeline based on risk, value, and timing
- Partner with Customer Success and Sales on key accounts and risks
- Identify and act on expansion opportunities within existing accounts
- Use tools and AI to improve efficiency and reduce administrative workload
- Maintain strong renewal hygiene and follow consistent processes
- Other ad-hoc duties as reasonably required from a Junior Renewals Associate
