This role is an Australia-based, fully work-from-home position, with access to co-working spaces in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Job Description

Are you passionate about crafting intuitive user experiences and eager to grow your product design skills? We’re looking for a Junior Product Designer with a focus on interaction design to help shape the direction of our digital products. You’ll work closely with product teams and stakeholders, turning ideas into polished user interfaces and seamless interactions.

What You’ll Do

  • Take direction and feedback from senior designers, UX managers, and product leaders as you iterate on your work.
  • Produce UI designs, wireframes, prototypes, and final assets that clearly communicate design concepts and user flows.
  • Collaborate in workshops and agile team processes to understand requirements and usability needs.
  • Ensure your designs align with our established design system and brand guidelines.
  • Clearly explain your design decisions and seek feedback to improve your work.
  • Work with engineers, product managers, UX researchers, and writers to ensure accurate implementation across platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  •  At least 1 year of experience designing and iterating on product UIs.
  • Solid understanding of interaction design, prototyping, and usability principles.
  • Experience using design tools like Figma, Miro, Jira, Confluence, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with design systems (a plus).
  • Experience designing for SaaS platforms (nice to have).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to break down UI requirements and work collaboratively in a team.
