Introduction

EdgeCortix is seeking a highly motivated, proactive, and creative Marketing Manager to help drive global marketing communications, PR initiatives, event execution, and customer engagement activities.

This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in fast-paced deep-tech environments, works well independently with a high degree of autonomy, and is excited by the opportunity to help shape the public presence of a rapidly growing AI semiconductor company.

The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with executive leadership, marketing and product teams, sales, business development, and external agencies to support global awareness, customer engagement, and go-to-market initiatives, while also independently driving projects and initiatives from concept through execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Communications (MARCOM):

  • Support the planning and execution of EdgeCortix’s global marketing communications strategy.
  • Manage and maintain the global marketing calendar on a 3-month rolling planning cycle.
  • Drive integrated marketing initiatives including:
    • Bilingual newsletters
    • LinkedIn and social media strategy &content
    • Thought leadership and contributed content
    • Product launch communications
    • Customer and prospect engagement campaigns
    • Event-related communications

Customer Engagement & Digital Marketing:

  • Help expand and optimize customer engagement workflows using HubSpot and related MARCOM platforms.
  • Develop customer nurture and follow-up campaigns tied to:
    • Content downloads
    • Events and conferences
    • Product inquiries
    • Marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams to create:
    • Customer success stories
    • Case studies
    • Pitch deck content
    • Sales collateral
    • Website and investor-facing materials

Content Development:

  • Review, refresh, and improve existing marketing and sales materials.
  • Identify opportunities for new content creation across digital and physical channels.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Creative teams to develop:
    • Product demonstrations
    • Tutorial and explainer videos
    • Website content
    • Technical marketing materials
    • Customer education assets

Public Relations:

  • Support global PR initiatives alongside EdgeCortix’s external PR agencies and partners.
  • Assist with:
    • Press release development
    • Media materials and executive briefing documents
    • Thought leadership content
    • Japanese localization and translation support
    • Ideation & creation of PR opportunities
  • Help coordinate media engagement activities tied to product launches, customer announcements, and major industry events.
  • Monitor media coverage and industry trends across AI, semiconductors, robotics, defense, and edge computing sectors.

Event Management:

  • Serve as a primary marketing contact for Japan & APAC based events while supporting global event activities as needed.
  • Manage event planning and execution for:
    • Trade shows
    • Conferences
    • Partner events
    • Executive briefings
    • Customer demonstrations
  • Coordinate:
    • Booth logistics
    • Vendors and suppliers
    • Branding and collateral
    • Demonstration coordination
    • Presentation materials
    • On-site operations
  • Work closely with technical teams to align demonstrations and messaging with target audiences and strategic objectives.
  • Support lead generation, customer engagement, and post-event follow-up activities.

Tokyo Demo Environment:

  • Help evolve and enhance the EdgeCortix Tokyo demonstration environment and executive briefing experience.
  • Maintain and refresh demonstration collateral and customer-facing presentation materials.
  • Make recommendations on how best to carry forward learnings from the Tokyo office to other relevant global EdgeCortix locations. 

Qualifications:

  • 5–8+ years of experience in technology marketing communications, PR, event management, or related fields.
  • Experience in semiconductors, AI, enterprise technology, robotics, embedded systems, or related deep-tech industries strongly preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese, including the ability to develop professional multilingual business, marketing, and PR materials for global audiences.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, CRM/MARCOM platforms, and social media management tools is a plus.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable working in highly technical environments alongside engineering and executive leadership teams.
