Job Summary
This position is responsible for planning, operating, and executing various internal and external events at the Micron Higashi-Hiroshima site, as well as handling visitor support and facility-related coordination. The role requires independently driving tasks and collaborating with relevant departments to deliver high-quality operations. Email and meeting communication in English will be required, and design skills are a welcomed plus.
Key Responsibilities
Event Management
- Planning and scheduling a wide range of events, including small- and large-scale internal events, as well as external events.
- Leading booth/exhibit preparation, venue setup, event operations, and day-of execution
- Coordinating with vendors, preparing materials, and creating announcement documents
- Creating posters, informational materials, event-related designs, and performing photo shooting and video creation/editing using Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, or Premiere Pro (a plus if available).
Visitor Support
- Hosting visitors from Japan and overseas, including arranging meeting rooms and escorting
- Planning and guiding site tours
- Handling procedures for site entry and other related coordination tasks
Required Qualifications
- Experience in event planning and operations (any scale, such as corporate, school, or organizational events)
- Ability to work independently with minimal instruction or supervision
- Strong coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Business-level Japanese
- Basic English reading, writing, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to participate in and communicate effectively during English meetings
- Experience using design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint)
- Experience in project management
