About the Role
Sime Industrial (SI) IT is seeking a skilled ITSM Support Specialist to join our team in Acacia Ridge, QLD on a permanent fulltime position.
This position will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective operation, administration, and optimization of ITSM tools (Neurons for ITSM and Cherwell Service Management) and processes within Hastings Deering and SI.
This role will support the delivery of continual improvement and user adoption of the ITSM platforms to align with business objectives and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the ITSM Operations Lead your primary responsibilities will include:
- Administering and configuring ITSM platforms to support operations, service delivery, and enhancement requests.
- Enabling ITIL-based processes (incident, problem, change, and request management) to drive efficiency and compliance.
- Driving system improvements through workflow automation and service process optimisation.
- Ensuring data accuracy and delivering actionable insights via reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Monitoring ticket quality and leveraging insights for service improvement.
- Providing subject matter expertise and support for ITSM tools.
- Maintaining best practice standards for continuous improvement.

Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar or equivalent role
- At least 2 years’ experience with Cherwell Service Management and Neurons for ITSM Configuration
- ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation certification
- Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
