Job Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site IT support for shopfloor systems, including assembly and molding equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to minimize production downtime.
- Perform basic SQL queries and updates for production-related databases.
- Install, configure, and maintain PCs, printers, and other shopfloor devices.
- Run, terminate, and test Ethernet cables to ensure reliable network connectivity.
- Provide remote support to other facilities or teams using secure remote tools.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and system changes in the IT ticketing system.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.
- Follow all plant safety protocols and IT equipment handling guidelines.
- Ensure proper cable management to prevent tripping hazards on the shopfloor.
- Adhere to company cybersecurity policies, including password management and access control.
- Ensure proper handling of sensitive data and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Apply security patches and updates to systems promptly to reduce vulnerabilities.
- Monitor for unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity immediately.
- Support compliance with industry standards such as ISO 14001 and 45001 guidelines where applicable.
Who we are looking for:
- CompTIA A+ Certification.
- 1-3 years of IT support experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Basic SQL knowledge for troubleshooting and data manipulation.
- Strong networking skills, including running and terminating Ethernet cables.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Your preferred qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience in IT support.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and basic server administration.
