Note: This is a full-time, temporary 2-month onsite project.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate rack & stack activities including installation of servers, storage, and network equipment
  • Coordinate and oversee structured cabling activities including vendor coordination and quality assurance
  • Perform installation, configuration, and validation of physical IT infrastructure components
  • Support setup and configuration of servers, switches, firewalls, and related infrastructure equipment
  • Configure network devices through serial console connections when required
  • Monitor installation progress and ensure alignment with project timelines and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation including rack layouts, cabling maps, and validation records
  • Prepare weekly progress reports and final implementation documentation
  • Ensure compliance with GxP standards
  • Collaborate closely with local and global IT infrastructure teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support troubleshooting and resolution of infrastructure-related technical issues on-site
  • Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and handover of implemented infrastructure to local IT operations

Requirements
  • Completed IT education or comparable technical qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure support, system administration, or datacenter environments
  • Hands-on experience with rack & stack activities, structured cabling, and datacenter setup
  • Experience with VMware, Windows Server, Dell, and Aruba infrastructure technologies preferred
  • Basic understanding of network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, and SD-WAN technologies
  • Experience configuring network equipment via serial console
  • Good understanding of infrastructure documentation and implementation standards
  • Experience working in regulated or GxP-controlled environments is an advantage
  • Strong troubleshooting, coordination, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced project environment
  • Service-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
  • Experience working with international and multicultural teams
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) required
  • Availability for full on-site assignment in Melbourne
  • Candidates may be required to provide a criminal record certificate not older than three months
