As an experienced Analyst or Associate in the Infrastructure Investment Banking team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the execution of the firm's business strategies and developing client relationships. You will work closely with senior bankers, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to the team's success. Job Summary:
As an experienced Analyst or Associate in the Infrastructure Investment Banking team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the execution of the firm's business strategies and developing client relationships. You will work closely with senior bankers, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to the team's success. The team specializes in providing advice to global institutional clients on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory across critical Australian infrastructure assets such as ports, toll roads, regulated utilities, renewables, and digital infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist senior bankers in originating, structuring, and executing advisory transactions across various product lines, including M&A, equity capital markets, and debt capital markets.
- Support the preparation of impactful marketing materials to maximize client engagement.
- Conduct qualitative and numerical analysis to add value for clients and ensure best-in-class transaction execution outcomes.
- Coordinate with internal teams across products and countries, as well as external parties such as clients, lawyers, accountants, and consultants, to ensure seamless delivery.
- Assist in advising clients on integrated financial solutions, including capital raising and financial instruments such as equity capital raising, bond issuance, and lending.
- Provide timely market insights and strategic observations to clients and internal teams.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Minimum o f 2 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on project finance and infrastructure or real assets.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields such as Law or Engineering/STEM.
- Strong analytical, communication, and writing skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, especially related to infrastructure and real assets.
- Highly driven, detail-oriented, and diligent.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams.
- Strong business acumen and ability to interact comfortably with business clients and management.
